A 1-AA Rosette award is a recognition of culinary excellence. This is given to only about 10% of restaurants that achieve standards that are rated magnificent and outstanding relative to other restaurants in the UK and Ireland.
Particular to the AA award is the Chef of the awarded establishment, who is deemed to have displayed “a mastery of basic techniques and produce dishes of quality and clarity of flavors, using good, fresh ingredients.”.*
Our very own Tim dela Cruz, who proudly lives and breathes the world-class Global Academy name, is the Head Chef of one such esteemed restaurant - the Smiths of Smithfield in London.
